Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and an MBA in the International Management of Resources and Environment. He has a strong background in Mathematics and Economics with over 20 years of experience in the development sector majoring in water resource management and sustainability.
He was the former General Manager of Foramat Limited, a rural water supply company and was very instrumental in growing the company into an Influential West African Industry player in the WASH sector. Jonathan Gador is a Founding member and Managing Director of TBL Resources Limited a water supply and Infrastructure development company. He led the company to the 58th Position on the Ghana Club 100 list in 2009. He has executed several WASH projected across Ghana including several World Bank Projects in the Northern, Savanna, North East, Upper East and Upper West Regions of Ghana. He also supervised three major European Union Projects in the Northern, Central and Western Region of Ghana delivering both point source water systems and piped scheme water projects across the Regions. Jonathan Gador also oversaw the delivery of several piped schemes across the Northern Sector of Ghana under several donor funded projects. Apart from the World Bank and the European Union Projects, he led TBL Resources to deliver several DANIDA, KfW, NORST, China Development Fund Projects across the country. He has extensive knowledge in the WASH sector and has worked across the West African Subregion delivering water and water infrastructure to many communities across the subregion. He has also consulted widely in the area of rural water and sanitation
He is a founding member of the Drillers Council Ghana and currently the President of the Council. He is also the founding President of Eagles Forum and the African Center for Progressive Policy and Research. With his vast experience in development work, having experienced poverty at first hand and the influence of policy on the lives of ordinary people, he decided to dedicate part of his time to policy research and advocacy. He currently leads the Eagles Forum in this area of work focusing on data analytics, policy research, advocacy and policy impact assessment.
